Privacy Policy
SHIFT (shift.degree) is a professional AI-training brand operated by Codebridge Technology, Inc., 8 The Green, Suite 12848, Dover, DE 19901, USA (“SHIFT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through shift.degree and our related registration flows, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of our website, people who register for our live sessions and events, and people who communicate with us by email, SMS/text message, or messenger apps.
By using shift.degree or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
01Information we collect
Information you give us
When you register for a SHIFT live session or event, request materials, or contact us, we collect the information you submit, which may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (if you choose to provide it, for example to receive SMS reminders)
- Messenger handle or contact (for example, if you register or communicate through Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp, or a similar platform)
- The content of messages you send us
Information collected automatically
When you visit shift.degree, we and our analytics providers automatically collect usage data, which may include:
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and time spent on the site
- Identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (see Section 05)
The AI Team Map
When you use the AI Team Map at map.shift.degree, the industry and business description you enter are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes the request to the model that generates your map) so that the map can be produced. We do not send your name, email address, or phone number with it.
Your finished map is saved so that it can be returned to you and so you can come back to it later. It is stored at an address that cannot be guessed, and search engines are instructed not to index it. Anyone who has the link can open the map, so treat it the way you would treat any document you would not publish.
We keep a saved map for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted automatically. To have your map deleted sooner, email hello@shift.degree with the map’s address.
02How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Register you for events — process your registration for SHIFT live sessions, workshops, and related events;
- Send reminders and updates — deliver session reminders, schedule changes, access links, and follow-up materials by email, SMS/text message, or messenger, using the channel you opted into;
- Send marketing communications — with your consent, tell you about upcoming SHIFT sessions, programs, and related offers by email, SMS, or messenger. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Sections 03 and 07);
- Measure and improve — understand how visitors use shift.degree, measure the performance of our pages and advertising, and improve our content and events;
- Operate and protect our services — administer the website, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms;
- Comply with law — meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
03Text messaging (SMS) and consent
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, we send SMS/text messages under our SHIFT session reminders & updates program — session reminders, schedule updates, access links, and, where you have separately consented, occasional marketing messages about SHIFT programs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Full program terms are in our SMS/Text Messaging Terms.
SMS consent & data
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The exclusions above include text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
We share mobile numbers only with the SMS service providers that send messages on our behalf, solely so they can deliver the messages you opted into — never for their own marketing.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of registering for any SHIFT event or purchasing anything from us.
04How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following limited situations:
- Service providers. We use third-party platforms to operate SHIFT — email delivery services, SMS/text messaging providers, chat and messenger platforms, event and webinar tooling, hosting providers, and analytics services (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4). These providers process personal information only on our instructions, to provide their services to us, and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SHIFT, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If Codebridge Technology, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
As stated in Section 03, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any sharing with third parties, and mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
05Cookies, pixels, and analytics
shift.degree uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to measure how it is used:
- Meta Pixel — helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and reach people who have shown interest in SHIFT. Meta processes this data as described in the Meta Privacy Policy; you can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — helps us understand site traffic and behavior in aggregate. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. If you block cookies, parts of the site may not function as intended.
06How long we keep your data
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy: for as long as you maintain a relationship with SHIFT (for example, you remain subscribed to our communications), and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant analytics tool. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. A map generated with the AI Team Map is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically (see Section 01).
07Your rights and choices
- Email marketing — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at hello@shift.degree.
- SMS — reply STOP to any SHIFT text message to opt out; see the SMS Terms.
- Messenger communications — you can block or mute our channel in the relevant app, or ask us to stop messaging you.
- Access and deletion — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send requests to hello@shift.degree from the email address associated with your data (or with enough information for us to verify your identity). We respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
08California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to know — to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared;
- Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising other than through the standard advertising cookies/pixels described in Section 05, which you can control as described there;
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, email hello@shift.degree with the subject line “California Privacy Request”. We will verify your request using the information you provide and respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA/CPRA. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authorization.

SHIFT is a professional training brand for business audiences. Our website, events, and communications are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email). Your continued use of shift.degree after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
