SMS/Text Messaging Terms

These terms govern the SHIFT session reminders & updates text messaging program (the “Program”) operated by Codebridge Technology, Inc., 8 The Green, Suite 12848, Dover, DE 19901, USA, under the SHIFT brand (shift.degree). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

01Program description

The Program sends SMS/text messages related to SHIFT live sessions and events: registration confirmations, session reminders, schedule changes, access links, follow-up materials, and — where you have consented to marketing messages — occasional updates about upcoming SHIFT sessions and programs. Messages are sent only to phone numbers whose owners have opted in.

02Opt-in and consent

You opt in to the Program by providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive text messages from SHIFT — for example, by checking the SMS consent box on a registration form on shift.degree, or by texting an advertised keyword to our number. By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided and that you are at least 18 years old.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of registering for any SHIFT event or of purchasing any goods or services.

03Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your registrations and interactions with SHIFT. A typical event registration produces a small number of messages (confirmation, reminder, access link, follow-up); marketing messages, if you consented to them, are occasional.

04Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. SHIFT does not charge for the messages, but your carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to messages sent and received. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network availability, which are outside our control. The Program is available on major U.S. carriers; supported carriers may change without notice. SHIFT and Codebridge Technology, Inc. are not liable for delays or failures in the delivery of any message.

08Privacy

Our handling of your phone number and related information is described in the SHIFT Privacy Policy. In particular: text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are disclosed only to the SMS service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, solely for that delivery.

09Changes to the Program and these terms

We may suspend or terminate the Program, or update these terms, at any time. Changes take effect when the revised terms are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued participation in the Program after a change means you accept the revised terms. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify subscribers.
